Fractals can look very random. The iterative function System is actually very exact. Each element on the canvas is the result of a very precise function applied to all other elements on the canvas given precise co-ordinates, arguments and weights. I spent a lot of time appreciating the randomness yet precision of patterns in nature. Cabbage leaves, tree bark, pebbles, sand dunes, spiders webs and much more. I find this form of precise chaos very pleasing to the eye and can find myself lost in my own little world just staring at these structures. Finding some sort of peace in amongst all of the chaos.
